Felipe Vareschi
I'm Felipe Vareschi, with my work as a mastering engineer I help artists amplify their creative voice. As an artist myself, I want to deliver a mastering service that revolves around your needs, and that empowers you to express yourself.
My work is centred around communicating your creative identity to the world. Whether you want to tell a story, create connections between people, excite the dancefloor or build exciting musical journeys. I believe that mastering can be a powerful tool not only for reaching broader audiences but also for amplifying your aesthetic choices.
I'm committed to making your music sound as good as it can and help make the sound you imagine in your head a reality.
The process
Balance
Tonal balance “sets the mood” for the rest of the mastering process. It’s the most powerful tool we have to immediately transmit your artistic vision and to convey emotion to the listener. Because every piece of music is different we carefully utilize equalization and tone-shaping techniques to suit your musical style and your personal aesthetic.
Movement
Listening to music is an emotional experience. Through volume automation, dynamic processing, analog saturation and other similar tools we ensure contrast between the different moments in your music. Tone and Volume changes are a powerful story-telling device that can help amplify your personal aesthetic.
Loudness
Once tonal balance and movement have been achieved we can bring your music to the level it needs to deliver emotional impact and energy to the listener. Every piece of music requires a unique balance between dynamics and loudness. We aim to deliver dynamic and competitively loud masters that can be enjoyed for decades to come.
Clients
Gina Lo
Gina Lo creates electronic music inspired by nature and her perception of changes in her surroundings. Her artistic practice is deeply intertwined with her love for the ocean, which lies at the core of her musical work. Gina Lo hopes to guide people into a surreal and dreamy reality, echoing her experiences in Cambodia, on an island, where she used to spend months every year observing the behavior of animals and the elements of nature in this kingdom of wonders. This lifestyle inspired the islander to anchor her thoughts in the present moment as she makes music. Gina uses this inspiration to express emotion within a tropical setting, she hears sounds in her head and tries to download them into real life. Her musical style is as varied as her inspirations, jumping from serene ambient soundscapes to vibrant and engaging rhythms, and to places that lie beyond ordinary human experiences.
Lând of Perish
L.o.P. is a Berlin based art-collective that revolves around one question:
“What if art was our only tool to create an entire new world “
Based on a fantasy world that points to the existence of parallel universes, the collective focuses on parallel universe no9 of that world and its only continent: The Lând of Perish. The collective’s goal is to shape that continent through boundary-pushing art that proposes new approaches to aesthetics, sonic landscapes, visual languages and politics.
The L.o.P. collective is ideologically centered around art that comes from the margins. It promotes work that doesn't bow to the status quo promoted by the gatekeepers of popular art.
Ambre Nuit
Michelle Stella AKA Ambre Nuit is a Berlin-based producer and label owner with Swiss roots.
Her atmospheric and emotionally charged musical style transports the listener's imagination through an ever-changing array of landscapes and spaces, both real and imaginary. By allowing her inner voice to express itself through music, Ambre Nuit creates personal musical experiences that are deeply nested within the tradition of dance music.
She released her first track "Alaskan Sky" on 24HRecords in 2019 and has amplified her musical voice ever since. During quarantine, she opened her own label "SCHLECHTE LAUNE Records" and released a VA compilation with 11 other artists. As a self-taught musician, she understands the need for young artists to have a platform that allows them to express themselves, and she has developed SCHLECHTE LAUNE Records with that in mind.
